ŽUPANČIČ AWARDS

On 11th June the Municipality of Ljubljana awarded the best artists for the year 2015. The life achievement Župančič award went to the painter Vladimir Makuc and the Župančič awards for excellent artistic achievements in last two years were presented to the director Barbara Novaković Kolenc, actor Alojz Svete and poet Boris A. Novak.

The program was created by Jaša Koceli with the creative team: actors Ajda Smrekar and Boris Kerč, composer Milko Lazar, violin player Vasilij Meljnikov, dancers Mateja Rebolj, Magdalena Reiter and Tajda Podobnik and the pupils of modern dance Dora Pestotnik Stres, Elena Nikolovska & Neža Vadnjal.
